I have assessed three music videos, by GCSE students, I have given them all a level that I think they would get. I have given the first music video a level 3, this is because they have used good shot transistions and used a good variety of shots. I also think that they have used good costume and mise en scene to fit in with their chosen genre. To improve their music video, I think that they need to improve their lighting on certain scenes and maybe add a few more different locations.
For the second music video, I have given them a level 3, this is because they have used good editing and filmed in several good locations. I think that they could improve their grade by changing the lighting in certain shots and smoother cuts.
For the third music video, I have give them a level 2/3, this is because they havent used very steady shots (some shots are shaky) They are also a few mistakes, for example there are people that are not meant to be in the shot and they are not in sync. I think that they could improve this by being more carefull when they film and editing better.

Website Anaylsis

The main colour scheme for the website is gold and purple, this is quite feminine and innocent. There is a mid shot of Leona to the left of the screen, she is looking directly at the viewer, giving direct address, making it more personal. There are several hyperlinks to other sites related to Leona, such as movie club and online shop, this makes it easy to access and move around the site. The website can be viewed in many different languages as shown by the different flags shown. There is a music video playing Leona Lewis's latest song and a log in to join the site.

She is looking into the camera, as if making eye contact with the viewer, this creates a direct personal effect. There are several hyperlinks to other pages of her site which make it easy to access. Music Video Analysis

The music video opens with a mid shot of the back of Rihanna, she is walking towards a mirror. The room is dark but is lightly lit with light bulbs surrounding the mirror. It then cuts to an extreme close up of her pulling a black dress strap up over her shoulder, followed by a mid shot tilt down of her caressing her body in a sexual manner. After this there is a close up of her applying lip gloss, this is in a careful, again sexual way. Throughout the video Rihanna is representing herself in a sexual way.

The music video opens with a mid shot of Leona walking down a street, she is wearing a bright pink low cut top with a matching pink headband, her make up is subtle but effective, she looks very pretty and girly. She is holding a mobile phone. It then cuts to group of boys on the opposite side of the street watching her and then cuts back to her smiling as she reads a text on her phone.
Later on in the video she is seen dancing amongst a groups of boys and girls in the street, everyone is wearing vibrant colours which makes the video seem fun and colourful. She is dancing in a fun but at the same time sexual way. She keeps constant eye contact with the camera, this creates a personal bond with the viewer. Again later on in the video she is wearing a black dress with a small black top hat and sat on a giant pink lips sofa, she looks sophisicated and sexy. She then begins dancing with men dressed in black with white masks on.

Album Covers Analysis
The artsits name and album name is clearly stated in quite a large font. There is also a close up of Rihanna on the album cover, the positioning of her head and shoulders could resemble her 'bowing' this could reflect the albums name 'Take A Bow' The background colours are white and a pale purple, this conveys a innocent femine portrayl of Rhianna.
The black and white effect creates a innocent and pure portrayl of Beyonce. She is wearing a 'cross' bracelet, this emphasises the pure portrayl of her and also shows a religious side to her, although there is a contrast as she is seen to be naked. She is also centred in the middle of the album with a medium closeup.
